"Elegant. Driven. Wise."

The default avatar appears to be a long, slender-bodied Eastern dragon with four thin legs, feathery tufts on its body, horns on its head, and a mainly turquoise and light green color scheme. Upon its release, the dragon could be purchased from the Royal Boutique for $4.99 USD. It was later moved to the Astral Shop when it was added on June 30th, 2020, where it could formerly be purchased for 400 Star Fragments. Almost all of its additional customization options could also be purchased from the Astral Shop with the exception of wings, which are unlocked by leveling up.

Red chinese dragon

Red Chinese dragon artwork found here

There are two major types of dragons: Eastern and European.

Eastern dragons, also known as Chinese dragons, are most commonly depicted with antlers of a stag, head of a camel, eyes of a demon, neck of a snake, belly of a clam, scales of a carp, claws of an eagle, paws of a tiger, and ears of an ox. They are "the creature of nine resemblances". Chinese dragons symbolize wisdom, strength, and fortune for people who are worthy of it. Lots of Chinese folktales in general feature these dragons in some fables and legends. They are told to have the ability to fly in a graceful pattern of twisting across the sky. They have control over everything involving water, such as how much rainfall people will receive each year and when natural disasters such as floods and typhoons will happen, and are worshipped as the God of Rain. Unlike their Western counterparts, these dragons are loved and worshipped.

European dragons are often depicted as large, scaly, reptilian creatures with wings, four legs, horns, and can often breathe fire. They are often depicted in modern culture (e.g. books, movies, and TV shows) as well as ancient culture as evil and violent creatures. They are also seen as ambitious creatures and symbolizes courage as well. Many other types of dragons also exist, such as the Wyvern, which has wings and two legs.

Trivia[]

  • On May 13th, 2020, a third dragon head was accidentally added as a customization option. On May 14th, 2020, this head was removed, but it is possible for users to still have it if they have not switched to another head nor overwritten a look containing it.
  • On August 5th, 2020, ten new mods were added for the dragon via the Astral Shop, including the dragon head that was previously released by accident.
  • The dragon's six head mods each breath a different elemental breath when performing the "Mad" emote: The Graceful and Stern heads breathe fire, Cherubic breathes bubbles, Venerable breathes lightning, Serpentine breathes a green poison, and Dynamic breathes ice and snowflakes.
  • The Verdant Wings Mod appears in promotional art of the dragon on the official site.
  • The six dragon head mods no longer breathe their elemental flames when preforming the "Mad" emote, there's no exact date involving when this stopped working for the dragons.
