Eureka Items, sometimes referred to simply as Eurekas, are secret items within Feral that can only be acquired at random when crafting certain items.

Information[]

Eureka Items may occasionally be rewarded to a player when crafting regularly available items in stores such as Fera Fashions, Twigla's Workshop, and "Reputable" Goods. Eureka Items are associated with a specific item, and can only be acquired when crafting the corresponding item. Often they share some similarity to their corresponding item, whether in design or context. The rate at which Eureka Items rewarded is unknown, but it has been observed to be uncommon, if not rare. Eureka Items can't be crafted on their own, but can still be awarded when bulk-crafting items. All Eureka Items are Rare.

Trivia[]

Eureka Items were presumably first implemented into Feral on May 13th, 2020, with the release of the 0.4.11 (238) update. The first Eureka Item, the Rare Alchemist Bottle Belt, was found later that same day, after "Reputable" Goods added the Alchemist Vials to its stock.
As of June 30th, 2020, with the 0.5.21 (278) update, all Eureka Items (except for the Back Pouches) have 'Rare' appended to the start of their name. They are the only items to be named in this fashion.
On July 15th, 2020, the first sanctuary Eureka, the Rare Midnight Moon Chair, was added to the game. It was found not long after the Midnight Moon Chair was released.
On July 29th, 2020, the first Eureka to come from an enigma was released. This Eureka comes from the Twiggle-Os Breakfast Cereal.
On June 1st, 2021, the first Eureka to come from a Season Pass enigma was released. This Eureka comes from the Twigla Back Buddy.
