There are three levels of staff on the Feral Wiki: Moderators, Administrators, and Bureaucrats.

For ease of communication reasons, all staff members must have easy access to the Discord platform, where the vast majority of all staff discussion takes place.

Moderators

Moderators have both Content and Discussions moderator permissions, meaning that they can:

  • Remove pages or files
  • Manage protected pages
  • Do the rollback action
  • Moderate article comments
  • Manage discussions posts
  • Manage blog posts
  • Moderate message wall posts

Moderator positions are currently open for applications.

Requirements:

  • Active member of the wiki for at least 3 months
  • Has at least 250 total edits (mainspace + discussions included)
  • Has at least 100 mainspace edits

Administrators

Administrators have the same permissions as Moderators, with additional permissions to:

  • Ban users
  • Edit the wiki's appearance
  • Edit MediaWiki pages.

Administrator positions are currently open for applications.

Requirements:

  • Active member of the wiki for at least 6 months
  • Have been a Moderator for at least 3 months
  • Has at least 500 mainspace edits & 750 total edits

Bureaucrats

Bureaucrats have the same permissions as Administrators, with additional permissions to:

  • Grant rights to other users
  • Make important decisions involving the wiki's layout, format, policies, and management

It is a position that cannot be removed except by FANDOM Staff or the Bureaucrat themselves, and thus this position requires the user to be very trustworthy.

Currently, Bureaucrat applications are closed.

Requirements:

  • Active member of the wiki for at least 9 months
  • Has been an administrator for at least 3 months
  • Has at least 1,000 mainspace edits & 1,500 total edits
