Four Crows is a Minigame featured in Feral. It can be found in City Fera.
Description[]
Four Crows is a strategy-based single-player card game in which players duel against Kino, using three types of cards to arrange crows on a branch. These cards allow the player to add, remove, and skip turns (or "wait").
Players can place a minimum bet of 50 Likes and a maximum of 200 Likes— though they can win up to quadruple the original bet, they can also lose it.
The Cards[]
The three cards utilized in Four Crows can add crows to the branch, remove them from the branch, and do nothing. At the beginning of the game, these cards are randomly assigned to the player. Kino receives the same amount of cards as the player.
Add Crows[]
This card adds 1-2 crows to the branch. It has 1 or 2 flying crows on it, dependent on the value of the card in question.
Remove Crows[]
This card removes 1-2 crows from the branch. It has 1 or 2 bird skulls on it, dependent on the value of the card in question.
Wait[]
This card skips a turn completely. It has a bare tree, mirrored vertically on the card with an inverted color palette, and possesses a value of 0.
Reward Multipliers[]
The player, when placing a bet between 50 and 200, has the ability to lose their betted amount, break even, or earn more than their original bet. For every bird left on the branch at the end of the game, the reward multiplier will increase.
- For 1 remaining crow, the multiplier is x1.
- For 2 remaining crows, the multiplier is x2.
- For 3 remaining crows, the multiplier is x3.
- For 4 remaining crows, the multiplier is x4.
At the maximum bet, the most Likes the player can win per game played is 800.
How To Play[]
At the beginning of the game, the player is given a hand of 5 cards. These cards are entirely random— Kino also receives the same amount of cards as the player, and their hand is completely random as well.
To play, the player must use their cards wisely to ensure there are never more than 4 crows present on the branch at any time. Kino plays cards at the same time as the player and also influence how crows are added and removed from the branch. It is important to be mindful of this, as the player is always playing hand-in-hand with Kino.
If more than 4 crows are added to the branch, the branch will snap, the game will end, and the original bet will be lost. If there are no crows on the branch at the end of the game, the original bet will be lost.
