- This item shares similarities with the Grunge Beanie, Grunge Drop Earring, Grunge Pinned Hood, Grunge Spike Ring, and Grunge Thick Chain, as well as the same prefix.
- During early stages of closed beta testing, this item was once able to be won as a prize in What the Hex?. It is unknown when it was removed from the minigame's prize pool, but there was a period of time where it was completely unobtainable before the item was re-released in "Reputable" Goods
- Occasionally, when crafting, the player can receive a Rare Barbed Tail Chain as a Eureka Item.
