Typical Clothing[]

Komodori are typically seen wearing belts and shoulder straps carrying several types of tools, or nothing.

Connection with Rat King[]

According to feral's official instagram account, @playferal in their Cindernoct post on 17 October 2020:

"Komodori are another matter altogether—using this time of year to celebrate and honor a mysterious figure they call the Rat King, who honestly sounds terrifying."

Its said that every Cindernoct, Komodori celebrate a mysterious figure in feral called Rat King. Rat King is a NPC that has not had much info revealed about them other than through dialogue with other NPCs. Rat King is also mentioned in Herald's Satchel description:

"Lonely orphan or misbehaving little one? Either way, they'll be taken to the Rat King's lair to be...raised..."

Trivia[]

  • Komodori have appeared in Mugmyre Marsh and Lakeroot Valley for Quests in the past, but cannot be passively found in any of The Expanse Realms.
  • 'Komodori' may be derived from the Japanese verb komodosu (小戻す), which means to 'rally a market'.
    • It may also be derived from the Komodo Dragon and the Japanese terms komokaburi (薦被り) which means 'a beggar', and dori (取り), an antiquated phrase which means 'a person receiving so much as a salary'.
  • The Komodori is WildWorks' Associate Producer, Pheobe's favorite species.[1]
