Sanctuaries are the housing islands for players in Feral. It was confirmed that sanctuaries would be in the game on December 13th, 2019, when closed beta testing began.

Sanctuaries are private islands that players can decorate, roleplay in, or hang out with friends. Sanctuaries have two sections; the outside island and the inside house. The outside island has many floating islands around it, although players are unable to access them. Furniture can be placed within a certain radius around the central house. The house can be entered from the outside and it will take the player to a new room where they can place more furniture and style it to their liking, being able to add more furniture, Wallpaper, and Flooring. Every sanctuary has a limit of 250 total items that can be placed in it at one time.
Upgrading Your Sanctuary[]
Starting December 18th, 2019, players were given the ability to upgrade their sanctuary. Each change comes with a cost and takes time to complete, but the more workers the player hires, the faster the work gets done. These Sanctuary upgrades include:
- Add new floors (above or below)
- Add new rooms
- Upgrade existing rooms
- Swap your Sanctuary's exterior appearance
